Editor and Journalist (m/f/d)
What can you expect?
- As an editor (m/f/d) you are responsible for writing art magazine articles and press releases.
- This also includes the independent coordination of the coordination process including the coordination of the media selection with artists and institutions from the art scene.
- You conduct interviews with big names from the art scene.
- You write these articles taking into account SEO criteria and digital journalistic standards.
- You create guides on various topics along the four dimensions of art: traditional art, modern art, digital art and performing arts.
- The support of national and international trade fairs and events as well as the development and maintenance of media contacts round off your area of responsibility.
What should you bring?
- You have a degree and/or editorial training, e.g. in the form of a traineeship.
- You have initial experience with common research and analysis tools.
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience as an editor.
- You have writing talent, good German and English skills.
- You have a fast and efficient working style with high quality standards.
- You are willing to be active in the arts on weekends.
- Your heart beats faster on all topics related to art.
